About Us

Bruce, Jennifer and Dylan Dunn

This is a picture of myself, my wife, Jennifer, and my boy, Dylan.

Since I opened for business, in June 1998, I have strived to sell 12-step products for less.

I bought IMPRESSIONS, formerly The Serenity Shop, in June of 1998, My goal was to offer AA meetings, members, and friends and family of members, affordable and quality 12-step products.

By February of 2000, I had succeeded in establishing a well-stocked, quality store. In November 1999, I married my lovely wife, Jennifer, who has proven to be invaluable to IMPRESSIONS business and growth. We are co-owners of this shop. In February of 2000, we put our shop online, which has helped our maintainence and growth. Because our prices are so low, we can't offer wholesale prices. If we did, we wouldn't be able to stay in business and fulfill your recovery item needs by offering recovery gifts for less.

From 2006 to 2008 our customer service declined. We weren’t able to send supplies to customers in a reasonable amount of time. We realized that the reason for this shoddy customer service was because we were using a supplier who had become incompetent. When this supplier ran out of an item, they would wait until 5,000 of that item was needed, then they would order the item. (The source of the supplies was located in China.) This resulted in customers waiting months and sometimes even over a year to receive merchandise that they had already paid for. This also resulted in us having to make countless refunds.

In early 2009 we eliminated this problem, as customer service is our number one priority. We now have different suppliers. Our current suppliers now always have their supplies in stock, and all products are manufactured in the USA. This is why our site is different (and better) than it was last year.

I am also a Web Designer. I offer good Web Design for less money. I code primarily using XHTML, Cascading Style Sheets 1 and 2, and Javascript. I validate all my work through the World Wide Web Validation System. Many of my sites are "tableless". Such sites load quicker, get better search engine optimization results and look and function better.
